Review of Something the Lord Made (2004) by Elizabeth B — 21 Mar 2010
Besides the fact that Alan Rickman's villain character in Die Hard made it impossible for me to have any affinity (even when he deserved the benefit of the doubt) for Dr. Blalock, the movie was great.
I really can't complain about the character development and even the fact that I knew how the "blue baby" surgery would end, I was still in suspense watching the OR scene. Overall, the true medical drama, racial obstacles, and strong characters made this a favorite.
