Review of Something Borrowed (2011) by Trandon D — 25 Nov 2018

This movie is awful. Not only does it portray a false relationship among lovers but also a false relationship among friends. I find it hard to even find a true protagonist in this movie as Rachel is going behind her "best friends" back to steal her fiancé.

This is neither a heroic act nor a romantic act as it is purely selfish. The only redeeming character found amidst the painfully overdrawn cheating scenes is Ethan. (John Krasinski). As the movie continues to try and convince us that Rachel isn't a backstabbing mistress, even though we know she is, I can't help but wonder if my life is better than a rom com.

Between the plot and Rachel's unfornate bangs this movie is an utter disappointment.
