Review of Somers Town (2008) by Richard L — 29 Oct 2009
This stands out of the rest of Meadow's work as his first "feel good" film, and one that breaks the obvious structures of his early work, which were getting repetitive. It still runs with his classic trademark themes of social alienation and the breakdown of the family, but it doesn't make you want to slash your wrists like you'd expect.
