Review of Some Kind of Wonderful (1987) by Neil J — 11 Sep 2007
I guess that I'm biased, because this is my nostalgia film. This is John Hughes effectively remaking Pretty in Pink, but giving the dynamic the ending that he originally had in mind. The performances are very strong, especially from Mary Stuart Masterson and Eric Stoltz.
One of the best performances, however, comes from Elias Koteas' very funny role as Keith's skinhead friend.
