*Maybe* if I had seen this when it came out (and I was around that age), I *might* have fond memories of it. Watching it as a bonafide grown-up was an abysmal experience. Puhleaz!!! Pretty In Pink did *not* repel me the same way when I watched it for the first time as an adult.
