As opposed to "Pretty in Pink" where the wrong two people end up together, this movie ends perfectly. Always being the best friend and never the love interest, I really sympathize with Watts.
Mary Stuart Masterson's desperate longing hidden by her rebel without a care attitude was brilliant.
