Review of Some Kind of Wonderful (1987) by Kameela I — 30 Dec 2008

Well it might seem like I am always giving 5 star ratings to every movie, but they truly deserve it.

This is just another great 80's film, I have got a little something for old movies but they seem to be the best done films. I had not seen it, passed through it all the time again and again and never bothered to pick it up. Now that I saw it amongst my cousins collection I just had to snatch it up. And so I did.

This reminded me a lot of Pretty in Pink, it is just a lighter and much sweeter version without all the drama or just the right amount of it Ill say. Very clean film with sweet revenge and a real love involved. This movie is something unique, it shows how special a best friend bond can come to be and how people never give up until that someone special comes to realize it.

The plot was so amazingly done, sweet yet not boring at all, keeps you smiling and giggling all along. Very enjoyable, light film. You wouldn't regret watching it. =).
