As a science fiction fan I've see every Star Wars film and and enjoyed the shallow, paper cutout character buffoonery, This is the first with a some actual depth behind the characters. For ,me, it was finally a Star Wars movie that didn't require its audience to be drunk, stoned or seriously unperceptive to enjoy.
