"Solo: A Star Wars Story" manages to work as a visually stunning and thrilling space adventure that is both exciting and action-packed. Aside from that virtue, it has a number of notable faults such as the fact that the pacing is uneven, the direction is a bit scattershot, and in terms of the questions that an origin story is supposed to answer: some answers are satisfying, others are unsatisfying, and it raises more questions than it answers.
Overall, "Solo: A Star Wars Story" is an exciting film to watch, but does not fulfill enough expectations.
