Review of Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018) by Ricardo P — 04 Jun 2018

After TLJ mix bag, behind-the-scenes drama, and delayed movie trailers, my expectations of Solo were quite low. However, this movie turned out to be better than I anticipated. Alden did a spectacular job of playing a young Han Solo.

Granted, I'm not a hardcore Star Wars fan, so I am not overly attached to nostalgia. The rest of the cast, from Woody Harrelson to Emilia Clarke to Donald Glover, added enough depth to make this movie a decent summer movie.

One drawback of this film was the lack of an actual fierce movie villain. Otherwise, movie is worth checking out at some point for anyone that enjoys a solid action/sci-fi flick.
