About Schmidt did this better. I guess the character is darker here, but feels a bit over done. I'm talking about when he goes after the kid with the jew fro's girlfriend. I guess this seen is to show he doesn't have any redeeming qualities and hasn't learned anything, which is great, but it felt forced.
