Review of Solitary Man (2009) by Brad G — 06 Nov 2010
Skirting similar but far less entertaining ground as Wonder Boys, Michael Douglas plays another codger discovering the ills of his slutty ways. Is it too late to have a relationship with his daughter? His ex-wife? His girlfriend? His girlfriend's daughter? His old college chum Danny Devito? That kid he just met on campus? Solid performances, but I found the whole woe-is-me storyline to be a little tedious.
