Review of Solitary Man (2009) by Lorrie K — 11 Dec 2011
I wonder if Michael Douglas is just desperately trying to convince himself he is still sexually viable. I am doubt he would accept a role that did not let him grope a 19-year old. Writing was boring, characters lacked dimension, directing was disjointed and lacking.
I wanted it to be good for Jenna Fischer, but I was bored to distraction. I didn't care about Douglass's character at all, and he was on the screen all the time. The best part of the movie was when I gave up and started reading.
Amoral selfish characters can be interesting, but this one was not. Boring. Good for insomnia.
