Boring. Despite its strong cast, Solaris fails to match with the amazing plot and fascinating background of the original book by Stanislas Lerm. What made the book so great lacks here, especially the captivating scientific studies on Solaris and the visions of its mysterious ocean.
By nearly only focusing on the relationship between the characters, Soderbergh makes the Solaris experience almost painful to watch. Sadly.
