Review of So I Married an Axe Murderer (1993) by Tyler S — 11 Sep 2008
Following up the success of 'Wayne's World', Mike Myers is in full goof-off mode, showing bits and pieces of characters that were and yet to come in his career. The first 2/3 of this movie are awkward as moments of genuine heart-felt emotion are torn back and forth between the goofy antics that audiences came to see.
The last half hour finally descends to the sort of gags and jokes that lift the final act of this film, but it comes too late to save this film from a solid B-list position.
