Review of Snowpiercer (2013) by Steprock — 20 Jun 2019
SUCH an overrated film. It's bleak for the sake of being bleak and violent for the sake of being violent. It plays out like a video game with waves of bad guys and bosses who just keep coming. It pretends to be deep or have some broader message, but it's so obvious that only a dullard would find it truly meaningful.
The first 45 minutes were really solid, but it started to repeat itself after that.
