"Audaciously ambitious action spectacular for filmgoers numb to effects-driven blockbusters"? So... about all that CGI...
Not the worst, but it was no masterpiece as the critic scores would seem to suggest. I would say that the more than obvious allegory and the denial of the audience to figure things out for themselves leaves a lot to be desired.
