Review of Snowpiercer (2013) by Cade H — 25 Feb 2015
Snowpiercer is a fantastic take on what happens in the future when the world freezes over. The idea is fresh and fun and it keeps you thinking throughout. The general concept is all the remaining human race is on a train that has different cars with something different on each one.
A group from the lower class in the back works their way up (which is against the rules) to try and make it to the front of the train. Along the way each train car is interesting to see, there are some fun battle scenes and some intriguing character interactions.
The end has a nice big reveal that I didn't see coming and it was satisfying. I applaud the movie simply for the amazing story and how it plays out. I was glued to the tv the whole time and at a tad over 2 hours, thats a feat.
If your looking for something different, story driver with just a little bit of action, you shouldn't miss out on this film.
