The Snowman is more than a Christmas or children's film. Its an Oscar nominated film!
The film's magic comes from the imagination. Two unlikely friends spend time together on Christmas Eve. The Snowman is really about the relationship between the boy and his creation. The story eventually unfolds to a wonderful cinematic treat stuffed with fantastic visuals and a beautiful score.
The film is only 26 minutes and is animated using pastels! I've grown to truly enjoy the story. The Snowman is a classic at my house. Its definitely a work of art.
Beware of the David Bowie introduction on YouTube or Television. Its crap!
