Not too many Old Geezers Who Go To The Matinee Alone showed up for this Oliver Stone flick. People, including OGWGTTMs, tend to agree with Stone's views or strongly reject them. In this case Stone makes the case, very well, that NSA overreached in electronic surveillance and Snowden did us all a favor, albeit illegally, in exposing it.
All that aside this is a pretty good movie in it's own right. All the major roles and cameos are by veteran actors who give it a good shot. Of course the action is implied, but Stone does a good job here making it move along, for the most part, quickly.
If all this is true I am still reeling about the abuse of authority at NSA, but also pretty satisfied that my $$ and time was not wasted. I'd recommend this regardless how you feel about Snowden as a pretty good movie.
