Snowden is a flawed but entertaining film about NSA hacker Edward Snowden. Joseph Gordon-Levitt gives a great performance as the title character. Shailene Woodley is also great as Snowden's girlfriend.
The rest of the supporting cast, including Melissa Leo, Zachary Quinto, and Nicolas Cage, also deliver solid performances. The film has an entertaining story about an entertaining subject. Sometimes, though, the film gets too predictable.
Also, the film is very biased towards one side. It's very obvious. I wish the film was more balanced to allow the viewer to create their own opinion on Snowden. Also, the film runs a little bit too long.
About 15 minutes of it could've been cut. Still, I enjoyed the story, and enjoyed the film. Overall, this isn't an Oliver Stone classic. Still, this is an enjoyable film with great performances and an entertaining story.
