Review of Snowden (2016) by Sean I — 15 Sep 2016
It's not a great movie and should have been more poignant and felt like it carried more weight than it ends up doing, but overall it's consistently captivating, whether because the dialogue forces you to pay attention, or because the acting is so incredible, or because what's happening on screen essentially happened in real life and is so preposterous.
It's structure and timeline are effective and the love story effectively developed. Not bad, just not great.
