Review of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1938) by Katherine W — 17 May 2013
One of my favourite Disney princess tales. I loved the seven dwarfs for their unique names and personalities (Grumpy and Dopey were possibly the best) and I was terrified as a child of the evil queen in both her human and crone form.
The crone transformation was incredible and truly a jaw dropping moment within the film. Snow White is filled with one of the most perfect animated stories; what needed to be there is there, what wasn't is nowhere to be found.
Disney made Snow White a solid benchmark for their future works.
