Review of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1938) by Infrarecon — 17 May 2023
I've started to watch the original Disney animations recently and I started with this one as this was the first Disney animation to be made in the amazing Technicolor format.
1938 definitely was a long time ago but this animation started something that Disney was definitely gonna be known for a long time, their western hand-crafted animation.
If your child hasn't watched any Disney original animations, that is a cardinal sin in my opinion.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is a beautifully crafted animated film that I only wish was longer. That's it Everything else is perfection, each and every single character, even the Prince who is not even in the film 90% of the time, Each character serves their purpose towards the moral ending.
Disney will never ever go back to these animations and decide to Remake them in 3D animation, they are so deep in their live-action remakes that they won't feel the need to.
