Review of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1938) by Ryan V — 21 Jul 2016
An evil queen is determined to murder Snow White, the only woman in the land who's more beautiful than she. Fleeing her peril, Snow White ends up living among a group of friendly and hard-working dwarfs.
Of course, the magical reach of the malicious monarch can extend very far. This pioneering film set the world of cinema on its ear when it initially came out, but these days it's appreciated far more often than it's actually watched.
The storytelling is a bit muddled, but iconic characters and wonderful artistic values will make it integral viewing for any fan of animation.
