Review of Snow White and the Huntsman (2012) by Patty S — 24 Feb 2014
Suprisingly adult retelling of the Snow White story with some excellent special effects and cinematography and some striking imagery (the queen rising out of the white water). Charlize Theron acts her ass off as the evil Queen.
Special mention to the score and sound too, especially during Snow Whites 'trip' whilst shes in the woods. Only negatives are really the love triangle which isnt necessary or really explored and the dwarves arent in it long enough.
