Review of Snow White and the Huntsman (2012) by English C — 13 Jun 2013

Probably the most hit-and-miss film I've seen for years... The acting was predominantly a miss, with unconvincing performances by almost everybody, including Stewart, who maintained almost exactly the same facial expression throughout the entire film.

A hit, however, was Theron as the Queen, who was very menacing indeed, if somewhat over-the-top and pantomime on several occasions. The Plot was a miss. Very dull. The CGI was a hit: superb! ... This film could have been excellent, but failed in so many places.
