This beautiful movie and the book go hand in hand. You can't have one without the other. The setting is gorgeous, and Scott Hicks art direction and the way he films is so unique and astoundingly beautiful, the attention to detail is amazing.
The story is intricate and expertly brought to screen and the music is the most amazing score i've heard in my life. One of my favourite movies. Ever.
