Review of Snow Falling on Cedars (1999) by Hamish S — 08 Aug 2007
I think I rented the wrong movie because I was going for the one about the boarding school. But "accidents rule every corner of the universe...except in the chambers of the human heart." Definately watch this movie; it's about accepting loss, love, the past, war, prejudice, unfairness, and anything else in the realities of life for what they are: truth.
Too bad for Ethan Hawke's character Ishmael...but I guess life really is unfair. And although a dream deferred leads the dreamer to explode, what really does it matter when no one's around to hear the explosion?
