Review of Snow Angels (2007) by Jonathan A — 13 Dec 2008
Three couples; both representing the blossoming, deteriorating and rekindling aspects of human romance interact with one another in a small mid-western town, climaxing at a tragic accident. Fantastic acting from Kate Beckinsale and Sam Rockwell, none of their characters are truly likable, but their pain is tangible and you cannot help but feel at least some sympathy.
Some of the cinematography actually brought out the snow-covered suburb quite wonderfully (and startlingly enough, resembles where I live). Not an uplifting film in any sense of the word, but very intriguing to watch, nevertheless.
