Review:

I quite enjoyed this intense drama about a father going to the extreme to release his kid from prison. The casting was great and the whole cast portray this true story very well. Whilst watching the film, it's hard to believe that it was a true story, which makes the movie more enjoyable. It's also great to see Dwayne Johnson "The Rock", play a role which is much different to his "hard man" action roles were he can take on the world. Whilst watching the film, you really so feel for Dwayne's character, along with the families that are all involved. In all, this is a very intense, entertaining drama that is definitely worth a watch. Great Movie!

Round-Up:

I'm glad that this movie made money because it really did deserve it. The extra material on the DVD is worth a watch because you find out some of the backgrounds of some of the characters and what the director went through to make this movie seem real. The only thing that I didn't agree with was the fact that Dwayne's kid did do wrong and he did deserve to serve time, but the movie made it look like the kid deserved to be released from prison. I suppose that is a part of the film that is up for debate, but for entertainment and intensity, I it's made very well.

Budget: $15million.

Worldwide Gross: $43million.

I recommend this movie to people who are into there emotional deep drama/action films about a father trying to release his son from prison by doing drug deals for the law. 6/10.
