Review of Snitch (2013) by Joe A — 11 Dec 2013

Based on a true story, but as always, I wonder how much is true. Also, expected more action and less drama, but it was more drama, which wasn't that bad, and less action, which was pretty bad. Acting actually wasn't bad, you've got some pretty darn good actors in Pepper, Sarandon, and Williams. Bernthal did a wonderful job and The Rock tries his best.

Side note: film definitely was pandering to the minimum drug sentencing of first offenders. I'm all for the war against drug, but it is kind of absurd that you could kill a man and be out of jail before someone caught with drugs.
