Review of Snitch (2013) by Veer G — 23 Jan 2014

Snitch's identity crisis took me out of the movie with an half hour left. I was blown away by the Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's thoughtful performance as a father risking his own life for the freedom of his son who's facing time for drug smuggling through the mail all because he wanted to try it.

I liked how they showed grit and realism to how that seedy world works but then it shifts gear into a cliche action film. it felt out of place and the ending was just too farfetched. Grade: C+.
