Review of Snatch (2000) by Dakota P — 05 Jun 2014
Director Guy Ritchie is able to recapture the mobster-esque essence of his previous films, while still making 'Snatch' feel completely new. On top of that, Brad Pitt puts on his best performance to date outside of 'Fight Club' while playing a lowly yet hilariously unhinged pikie (gypsy).
Asking a bare knuckle boxing champion to take a fall in an illegal underground match proves to be a daunting task, and the results are utterly comical.
