Review of Snake Eyes (1998) by Adam P — 14 May 2011
Not a bad movie by any stretch, and a highly imaginative and entertaining one at that. Just a little too straightforward for its own good, given the potential, stylistically and narratively, to be a true whodunnit classic.
Nic Cage is at his scene-chewing best, and I mean that as a completely sincere compliment to an actor whose talent is sometimes overshadowed by his...talent.
