Review of Snake Eyes (1998) by Raji K — 14 May 2014
Brian DePalma directs Snake Eyes which tells the story of a laid back and immoral police officer who gains a conscious after being places in the middle of a giant conspiracy. The premise is somewhat interesting in that an assassination occurs in the middle of a boxing match so anyone could be a suspect and everyone is an eye witness.
Unfortunately the movie although sets up and starts off interesting it really runs out of steam and tries to be more than it is to fill up an hour and 45 minutes of time. This was one of Cage's weaker performances and Sinise does his best with a poor script.
