Review of Smokin' Aces (2006) by Molly F — 17 Feb 2010

A fun movie to watch with a pretty good twist in the end. I liked how they leaked the information on the twist throughout the movie, but it was hard to understand so it kept you guessing. I was a bit let down by how some of the characters just, kind of, weren't developed and simply left.

I thought Jeremy Piven should've been used a bit more. I also thought that there would be more hitmen, but that's just my judgement. It was more of a action-thriller than the action-comedy I was expecting, also.

Alicia Keys did a very good job, and she was convincing. But overall, it's a well-done movie.
