I can identify all the reasons why this isn't a very good movie: under-developed characters, uninspired dialog, and a third act that takes itself far too seriously. These flaws make it something of a guilty pleasure that succeeds only because of its visual flair, it's mostly-entertaining ensemble cast & it's hyper-kinetic and bloody action sequences.

I know it's not great but I just don't care; if you can let its faults go, it is an unabashedly entertaining flick.
