I saw this movie in theaters well over a dozen times. this was one of the first movies I remember being held over for many weeks. one of my all time favorites without a doubt. extremely quotable, imho.
jackie gleason & jerry reed have some of the best lines in redneck movie history. awesome opening credits as well. probably the only movie in history that makes law enforcement laugh at themselves.
