Review of Smokey and the Bandit (1977) by Jack L — 24 Jan 2011
I recently revisited this film and have to say I enjoyed it as much now as I did years ago. Great film, great acting. Burt Reynolds was in his heyday and Jackie Gleason puts in his usual stellar performannce (probably his best movie role).
Although I am not a huge fan of remakes, this may be one film to consider for that category. Just one thing about that...if it is remade, I must insist that Larry the Cable Guy be cast in the role of Cletus.
