Review of Smoke Signals (1998) by Lori C — 16 Nov 2010
Adam Beach and Evan Adams did an amazing job in this film portraying two Native Americans going on a road trip. They have very different opinions on how to live their lives and most of the time it's actually quite hilarious watching them clash and argue a bit.
The movie was very well done. It was directed, written, and starred all Native Americans. It has a wonderful story of redemption and understanding. There is definitely a theme of moving on which all the characters in this film portray many times whether it's leaving a family or leaving home. All the characters in this film have their own journey and redemption that they recover.
Overall, I really enjoyed this film. It has some very funny moments in it mixed with a really good story. Definitely, check this one out.
