Review of Smilla's Sense of Snow (1997) by Aaron L — 15 Feb 2008
Even with its much-detracted, flawed scripting (at least come the latter half of the movie), I still find myself drawn to this Scandinavian-based thriller, next to (the original) Insomnia.
I guess I'll have to read the original Peter Hoeg novel to get a better understanding of what's truly/essentially absent in the movie version.
