Review of Smiley Face (2007) by Ria T — 13 Feb 2008

This movie probably could've been alright, but the script just blows. There are only a few funny parts throughout. Anna Faris is an authentic stoner here, but that also makes her incredibly annoying.

Without crazy, over-the-top, cheesey things going on around her, like, say, Harold and Kumar, or Half Baked, this movie essentially traps you next to someone baked out of her mind and rambling for an hour and twenty minutes.

Real life stoned people are annoying as hell, and what they find funny is typically only funny to them, not to a sober audience.
