Review of Smiley Face (2007) by Tara G — 13 Sep 2008
There was one piece of monologue that served as the only funny part in the film. I love Anna Faris and that's why I thought I'd like this movie. It also has John Krasinski, Danny Masterson, and Adam Brody in it - all of whom I love also.
But this movie is proof yet again that just because a movie has a whole set of awesome actors in it does not mean the movie will be any good. Faris's facial expressions were probably the only laughable part of this.
If a movie about stoners can only be good when you're stoned, it doesn't do its job.
