"Gregg Araki directs teen stoner film" isn't something I ever thought I would see, and in truth the filmakers natrual talent far outweighs the paper thin material. Having said that there is a depth here that is missing from many other genre pieces, and any film with REO Speedwagon on the soundtack is ok by me.
