Another stupid movie where the people who smoke pot act like they're on mushrooms or acid. Smiley Face started off well enough, but went down the toilet real fast. Too bad because the movie has a great cast and they're all completely wasted.
The direction is pretty good and the movie has a few scenes of visual flair, but the boring and directionless script drag it all down. I'm guessing the producers called in a few personal favors to get this cast based on such a crap script.
Hopefully the very funny Anna Faris will star in a good movie one of these days. I don't care how baked you get, this movie is a complete, laughless bore.
