Review of Smiles of a Summer Night (1955) by Christian S — 25 Jan 2008
A wonderful comedy about life and intrigues among some couples during the 19th-century. Molndal-borne Ulla Jacobsson, Eva Dahlbeck, Gunnar Bjornstrand and a very young Jarl Kulle are great in this movie; which is the first Ingmar Bergman-film where I heard people loughing out loud in the theatre.
Excellent dialogues!
