Review of Smiles of a Summer Night (1955) by Evan J — 19 Aug 2008
A delightful film about a group of people who are in the wrong relationships and can't seem to realize it. Not your average comedy, more subtle in its laughs, in fact the film seems more interested in making you smile, chuckle a bit then have full out laughter.
But that's what makes it such a nice film, you smile the whole time you watch it, and instead of laughing in the face of the characters, you simply chuckle to yourself as you observe the way they go about seeking love.
