Review of Smelchak (1919) by Chrystian H — 24 Apr 2012
Daredevil tries too hard to be dark and edgy, while simultaneously trying to retain the over-the-top fun of a comic book movie, and ultimately fails because of that. It is fun to watch, if you're looking for something completely mindless, but offers little more.
The creative team behind the film seems to have little to no grasp of the character, and cast Ben Affleck accordingly.
