One of the best films of 2011, if not all time, Take Shelter is a dramatic, claustrophobic look into the mind of a man trying to protect his family. Michael Shannon delivers a perfect performance that ensures you feel every emotion the film wants to convey, and feel it hard.
Beautifully shot, skillfully scored, and with an ending that will have viewers debating for years to come, Take Shelter is a mostly overlooked movie that SHOULD be seen by all.
